Update on El Hierro volcano at 11:26 UTC

This is a short update on activity in El Hierro volcano.

There have been welcomed to days of quiet days in El Hierro volcano in Canary Islands. After heavy earthquake activity in the volcano for the past two weeks. The strongest earthquakes for the past two days took place today and had the magnitude of 4.5 and 4.2. The magnitude 4.5 had the depth of 22 km and the 4.2 earthquake had the depth of 19 km.

It is impossible to know for sure if this activity is over for now. Or if this is just a temporary quiet in El Hierro volcano. Since no eruption has yet taken place that I know too have been confirmed for sure. For that reason, future activity cannot be ruled out at the moment. But it is impossible to predict what happens in volcano like El Hierro. So for now it is just wait and see what happens next.
